Oak Creek Sunlight

“Faeries, come take me out of this dull world,
For I would ride with you upon the wind,
Run on the top of the dishevelled tide,
And dance upon the mountains like a flame.”
― W.B. Yeats, The Land of Heart's Desire

These little munchkins

...who aren't really that little anymore?  Yeah I'm going to miss these ones a lot.

p.s. I recently decided to go to college(basically they sent me a great financial aid package) and I'll be going to SPU in the fall, so please excuse all sappy-ness in the impending months before I leave.  :)

Painting Pottery // Personal

For christmas this year I gave my little sister a coupon for a sister date to crackpots, our local paint-your-own-pottery place.  And yes, it took us this long to redeem it.
We stopped for a minty m&m blizzard, and then settled down to paint our mugs, mine a big-as-a-bowl piece, and hers a little owl shaped one.
Of course, we stopped for pictures.
Love you em.

Pit Stop

In the middle of nowhere this summer- I honestly don't remember, probably somewhere between upstate Michigan and South Dakota, we stopped for gas, watermelon bubble gum, and to stretch our legs.  I snapped a couple pictures of the girls.

Some nice light and a summer night

She had just gotten back home after a long day at ballet, and then swim lessons, and mom was making dinner, and there was a camera just waiting for me.  She is so pretty.  Ack, I've thought she was ten for several years now, but she really does keep growing up.

On another note, the other night my littlest sister came into my room to say goodnight and as she hugged me, she looked a little sad and told me that I was growing up so fast.  These girls.  I love them.
